Ojami - おじゃみ -
The octagonal shape comes from a traditional Japanese toy, made by sewing together just four rectangular pieces of cloth; a demonstration of the ingenuity and creativity of our ancestors.
At TAKAOKAYA we rearranged this unique shape to create one of our new relaxing products: “Ojami”. Each item is carefully and lovingly handmade by a team of highly skilled Kyoto craftsmen.

Use Ojami as a back cushion on a sofa or chair. It supports the natural curve of the spine and helps to maintain good posture, thus allowing the user to relax and feel comfortable.
As the Ojami is quite high, you can sit cross-legged or kneel with your feet on either side, so it can be used comfortably for long periods of time.

As this is a custom made product with a variety of fabrics to choose from, it is advisable to be present when making your selection.
